Ryan Ehlinger, DVM
Dr. Ehlinger is a 2009 graduate of Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine located outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to becoming the owner of Main Street Small Animal Hospital, he practiced at a 10 doctor practice in New England offering 24 hour care and access to specialists. His professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, oncology, dentistry, and dermatology. He loves animals, but also enjoys people and makes it a priority to educate owners and be a clear communicator. He regularly attends twice the continuing education mandated by the state of California and is dedicated to expanding his knowledge base so your pet gets the best possible veterinary care. He is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Ehlinger lives in Templeton with his wife Courtney, daughter Olivia, and son Jack. Their furry family members include 2 mixed breed dogs (Iggy Pop and Hazel), 6 cats (Mamma, Beanie, Kiki, Flower, Sugar, and Brownie), and 2 bunnies (Cutie and Snowball). When he can get away, Dr. Ehlinger enjoys heading to the mountains or beaches with the family for some outdoor adventures.
Alex Gomes, DVM
Dr. Gomes is a graduate of Colorado State Veterinary School. He has come home to Paso Robles where he was born and raised. He comes from a family of local farriors and has been surrounded by animals his entire life. Prior to completing his DVM he was a squad leader in the US Army where he was a UAV Flight Instructor and Flight Mission Commander. He also has a bachelor's of science degree in molecular biology from Western Washington University. Dr Gomes' professional interests include general surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and shelter medicine. He has a strong passion for community outreach programs, working with groups such as World Vets and The Street Dog Coalition providing veterinary services to animals in need. Dr Gomes is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, World Vets, and Association of Shelter Veterinarians. He lives on a ranch in Paso Robles with his 3 dogs; Juniper (aussie shepard), Sullivan (aussie shepard), and Willow (cattle dog cross).
Megan Drake, DVM
Dr. Drake is a 2012 Graduate of St George Veterinary School. She began her career practicing general small animal medicine in Arroyo Grande for 4 years. She followed that with 4 years of practice in emergency and critical care at a 24-hour hospital in Orcutt. Dr Drake brings expertise in internal medicine including oncology, endocrinology, and infectious disease. She is also skilled in triage and stabilization of emergency cases. She values client communication and listening so she can partner with clients to best serve their pets. Dr. Drake lives in Arroyo Grande with her family which includes her cat Uhtred and her show horse Three-Dee.
